MONDAY, JULY 10, 2017 – 5:05 P.M.
DICKERMAN BUILDING


CALL TO ORDER

Chairperson Meadows called the meeting to order at 5:05pm.

ROLL CALL

Council Members present were Chairperson Carolyn Meadows, Beverly Bakker, Carolyn Bennett, Judi Costanzo and John Lahert. Mayor Larsen and all of the supervisors were present also.

COUNCIL CHAIRPERSON: CAROLYN MEADOWS

Chairperson Meadows dispensed with the formalities.

COUNCIL DISCUSSION:

Discussion and Consideration of the Proposed 2017/2018 Budget for all Departments.

The Council approved the following:

1) The millage will be at the roll back rate of 8.8354.

2) The Episcopal Children’s Service donation was deleted.

3) The employees’ salaries were increased by .50 an hour.

4) The Interlachen Fire Department Station 4 donation line item of $10,000.00 was left in the budget contingent on the amount of money they receive from the County.

The Budget Workshop on July 13, 2017 was cancelled.

The Final Budget Workshop was set for 5:05pm on July 24, 2017.

The Tentative Budget Public Hearing was set for 5:05pm on September 11, 2017 and the Final Budget Public Hearing was set for 5:05pm on September 25, 2017.
